Oh, my home rig is acting all goofy now, corrupting files and running kind of slow. So the desire to upgrade is getting stronger.
I still don’t want to just get a new mainboard/proc. I still have the desire to buy a new one.
I was cruising resellerratings, and noticed Xtreme gear, which has a rating above 7, which is my personal cut off point on buying from places. Good prices, but I dunno. Not the greatest customer service. On the other hand, I’ve bought from dell many a time and they rate like a 3, so…I can do a 7.4.
So seriously thinking of Xtreme. Or I might pick up a system from here at work, though it is a Systemax, which is crappy as far as the case and stuff goes, but it’s all off the shelf parts, (x2 3800, 2gb of ram, 250gb drives, MSI board) and move that all into a decent case. It’d save me money, but…I’m a nut job. I always over think these things.
I’d really like an ABS system, but out of my price range.
Whatever man, let’s get to it.
