I had a problem like this once...I didn't know what was wrong...and I didn't want ot reformat my computer. So I just took a wild guess and changed my RAM. I took out both my 64 megs of RAM chips and replaced them with a 128 meg chip and now my computer works fine...tell me how that works...I don't know
