WARNING About 64,000 counterfeit "Square D" circuit breakers, distributed by Connecticut Electric & Switch Mfg. Co. and manufactured in China, because the circuit breakers labeled "Square D" are counterfeit and could fail to trip when they are required to, posing a fire hazard to consumers. Connecticut Electric has received no reports of incidents or injuries. The counterfeit circuit breakers are black and are marked as Square D products. if in the last 3 years you have had any eletrical work done in your home . i check the breakers .and if you had lights fixtures , wall plugs installed i really check into this !
