You just gotta jump in and try it
Every time I grocery shop I wander down the Asian food isle and pick up something new, usually a sauce of some sort. I don't follow any recipes for my "Asian" cooking, I just randomly mix the ingredients I've found in those isles. I don't know how authentic it is, but it sure is yummy.
