Face it, the MDX (while a great lookin' car), the highlander, the RX300...all the Japanese mid-size SUV's are basically roughed up minivans.
If you want an SUV, I'd suggest an American car. If you want a slightly more capable van for your resident soccer mom, get one of the above.
I test drove the RX and was not impressed, btw. Just too small for my tastes.
