Want a review? It's a game that falls short of greatness. They could have made this one of the best games to play. Instead, they made a horrifying game.
The good part is that the fighting system is great. Think Tekken in a Final Fight type of game. There are a lot of moves you can pull off and it's a blast to fight. Furthermore, the graphics are pretty good in all. Nothing eye popping, but nothing ugly.
That's where the good part of the game ends and the bad part surfaces. The game is out of balance. If you manage to knock a guy off their feet, they would lie there for about 10 seconds before they got up, leaving a huge gap in gameplay. Second, the guns and weapons you can use are boring, hard to use, and kills the balance of the gameplay. Why use cool hand to hand combat when you get blasted by a rocket launcher 100 feet away?
The levels eventually reduce to a hunt and find the switch to get through the next door. It's pretty bad and it gets boring. What's worse is that the save system is painful. There's no in-game save. Instead, the game saves itself whenever you get to a designated point in the level. However, these points are far and few between.
In all this game is fun to play for about 10-15 minutes, but past that I would spend the $40 for the PC version nor the $50 for the PS2 version.
