Amongst my group of friends we have a similar grilled corn receipe. Substitute the pepper for grated cheese (Parmesan usually) and minced garlic mixed with the butter. Spread the garlic butter one thickly, sprinkle large amounts of cheese, reattach husk, cook over low flame, turning every 15 minutes for 45 minutes to an hour.
Absolute awesomeness.
