They offered me a job as a liason between the guys who did the 1/2 scale clay models and engineering. I was too proud to take that job, because I wanted to be a stylist.
BTW, there were only six stylists there at the time. They wanted me to refine my skills and take a two year course at their design school if I wanted that job. But I was too tired from 5 years at Drexel. So I dropped the idea. There was a downturn in the economy a few years later and I am not sure if i would have been out of a job there.
I got subsequent jobs working for the Navy and ended up working for NJDOT as a spec writer for highway equipment. I absolutely loved that job. I guess I didn't know what was best for me when I was younger.

That was my dream job!!! I'm still in design, but not designing cars.
