Almost every Video game made into a movie sucks... The only one that has been remotely sucessful is "Resident Evil".
Hollywood just doesn't do well in that area.

That's because they stray away from the idea, poor casting choice and crappy effects. I think with technology now it can be done. To tell you the truth, that trailer looked much like a movie to me. Maybe the movie should just be completely CGI.
