nah i don't think its the same thing. Getting charged $400 instead of $300 for a received ain't the same thing as getting 8.9% financing on a $30,000 car sold at MSRP when your credit clearly qualifies you for better financing and better sale price. There is a system in which sales people will go out of their way to confuse buyers, withhold rebates, etc...if you don't go in prepared, they will fleece you. They pray on ignorance.
