Are you talking to me? Not sure since you didn't quote anyone.

Carrying your team to victory is a good indication but if you are surrounded by a great cast it makes it much easier. When you carry your team to victory and there isn't much talent on your team then you are a Heisman winner. Plus running up the score on patsies to pad your stats is another thing the shouldn't count when figuring out who is the Heisman.

I also do agree with you in that you should always go to the "best" team in one of the highest ranked schools.

Just because teams are stupid doesn't mean it is so. Even the average football fan knows that Heisman /= pro material; just because some teams had idiot leadership doesn't make it a fact. Look at the Steelers or the Patty Cakes - they don't go after the Heisman winners because there are much safer "bets" out there.
