yaa spoke to the well guy yesterday and today his brother. i be getting a new well -but not till the 4 th due to the holidays as 1/2 there team is on vacation in Florida.
full rundown of what i have done to try and get water running again. replaced all the plumbing pipe from the well outside to the pump in my basement. i replaced the check valve twice .my luck the first one i bought and installed was defective. only could happen to me. also replaced the pressure gage as it was not reading right or at all.was stuck at 15 lbs.anyway had the wife help me and got the pump primed again after hours of trying.anyway can't get the system to build up enough pressure it max's out at 20 psi while running and 10 psi when off. it has to build up to around 30 psi to turn off the pump. right now what im doing is plugging in the pump as i need water .lets say to flush the crapper or wash dish's . there no way to take a shower or any major water use.
im thinking the well point is clogged or the casing of the well is cracked. ether way is not good news and means a new well to be drilled at $12 a foot min of 100 feet plus parts == about $4000 - $5000
