I figure that Microsoft can't afford letting Windows 7 be another Vista or ME. I've been happy with XP, but 5 years from now I'll probably be wanting something more updated, so I decided to pop for a couple of the $50 upgrades. Kind of reminds me how I jumped on 3 of the Windows XP Pro offers that Microsoft (via some helpful forum members) made available to developers for $40 when XP first came out.
