Can't install Lotus Approach, but it used to run well

I have been running Approach for many years. Though it is not supposed to be Vista compatible, for the last 3 years it ran fine on my computer (Gateway quad Q6600, 4 gig ram), I had a hard drive failure. I replaced my 500 gig with a 1.5T. Everything I had reinstalled fine, many programs all installed fine except Lotus Approach 9.x. I keep getting the error that there is not enough room on the selected drive. I tried installing it on the "C" drive, the "D" drive that is the partition Windows sets aside for Recovery. I also tried installing it in a 2nd backup drive "K" drive. Before the hard drive failure Lotus ran fine in this same computer, everything is the same except the new hard drive. Any suggestions as to how I can install this program? Any idea why all other programs installed and why this program installed fine in my old 500gig drive? I would buy a program if it could run my Lotus files. Thank you
