You can get a 3rd party battery for about $50-60 off ebay, but those can be hit or miss quality-wise. An original one from Dell is probably about $130-150, unless you catch a sale.

I'd say hold out until they put batteries & accessories on sale & get an original one from Dell, OR take Ray's advice & put that toward a new laptop.
