You know what? I now find that I can enjoy his music more these days. I think it is because it is now seperated more from his crazy personal life and is seen more on its own. At least for me. The phrase I heard in an interview clip somewhere that sticks with me now that Michael Jackson said is "not good enough". I think he got it from his dad all the time. He never felt he was good enough at anything. At singing, at dancing, at his music, in the way he looked. This is what drove him. It made him do crazy things like disfiguring himself with all the plastic surgery but it also made him work harder than anybody else at his craft which helped hone it to an incredibly high level. He is the ultimate example of that which makes you great can also destroy you.
