Interesting story but I don't believe it. I think that NJ has Death Row in Trenton and not Rahway. Small detail but the story just sounds too much like a fable. NJ established the death penalty in 1982 and there are only 18 people on death row now. I also believe that life without the possibility of parole was a fairly recent addition to NJ penal law (2000).
