Speed may not be a concern......
If you just want the drive for storage, then get the biggest drive for the best price. Like, me... I have a 8GB drive dedicated to MP3s. The speed of the drive doesn't really matter when loading mp3s. Besides, if you get a huge drive, that means it is a newer drive and should be at least 5400. That is plenty for storage. Just make sure you have your OS and large loading softare on a fast drive.
So, If You are looking for a new main drive, get a fast one (i.e. the 75GXp or the Fireball). But, if it is just storage, I would get the biggest one for the amount of money I want to spend.
