Hardware and connection wise sounds like you're fine since it shows up under device manager. That yeller exclamation mark most likely means the correct drivers are not installed. Sooooo, you need to get the right drivers for this drive and for wintookay. You may also have to do a firmware update the cd-r drive. Hopefully this part of plextor's site will help you:
