Alrighty. I have an incredible programmer at my disposal and I've been considering setting up an interface that would allow people to come to DealHunting and submit their referral information. People could go there to sign up for programs and the referral codes would be given in a fair and even manner. Either with random distribution of the referrals or some other method. This would prevent "chain-breaking" and everyone could get some referrals even if they don't know a lot of people.
With the thousands of people that visit DealHunting each day, I think it would be an excellent source for new referrals for everyone.
We've already got a rewards interface in the works that will let someone "admin" a particular rewards section and keep the up to date news, links, and necessary information that is always sought for. They would be able to edit the Powerdime page, or the MyPoints page, etc with the daily trivia and point earning links on a daily basis and get referrals in return. That is just a few days off. (I need volunteers who can keep REALLY up to date information on their program of choice.)
