Here is the breakdown (again) from best to worst.

1) DVI
2) 15 Pin
3) Component
4) S-Video
5) Composite
6) RFU

DVI and 15 pin connections are hardly ever on regular TVs, so rule those out. I think the only true digital output is the DVI connection, the others are still analog.

Component sends the video in three different signals, giving a good, sharp picture with great color.

S-Video, the video is sent in two signals: Color and Brightness.

Composite sends the video all in one signal, so when decoded, the picture isn't as good.

RFU sends video AND sound through the same coaxial cable. So it is pretty crappy.


If your TV has component-in (HDTV), then get that. Otherwise, get the S-Video. Make sure your TV has the inputs FIRST!
