Cantacuzene banned?

I just saw that Cantacuzene was banned... Anyone know why?

Well, he was banned previously and was allowed back on. However, there are...elements...here that cannot (or will not) debate with anything but attacks, whether direct or not. Canta didn't take those (in)direct attacks as gracefully as those elements would have liked, some love to start crap and then be treated with kid gloves. Thus, he was blunt in his rebuttals and often seen as arrogant, again, something which those less able to deftly buttress their "arguments" couldn't handle, so they complained.

Some see arrogance, I see frustration with those less able to form cohesive arguments, or at least handle being called out for anything but acknowledgement of failure to form cohesive arguments.

Life is nothing but acknowledgement of lack of knowledge, adaptation, and learning. Those who choose to ignore that would rather fight it using anything but the former.

Those who cannot sugar coat, or suffer ignorance, are called arrogant, but in the end they are just misunderstood by those who cannot possibly understand or do not try.

Ah, the good ole days.... except I disagree with your take.

I didn't want Cant banned and would like to see him let back in. He and I went at it as bad as anyone else on these boards. We disagreed on a lot of things and directed personal attacks at each other whenever the opportunity presented itself, but we were also able to be civil with each other.

I don't think he was banned because of people complaining about him. It was more him being involved in so many arguments with so many different people and that those threads needed to be moderated. He did start many of the personal attacks and couldn't deal with others not agreeing with his opinions. I was no angel, but I warned him/everyone else and told him specifically to relax a little.
