I've almost given up on this one, but figured I'd mention it in a few message boards if anyone has a suggestion for me to try.
One of the arcade games I play lets you save your scores to a USB pen drive (I use a Sandisk Cruzer Mini 1GB card). Lately we've been having USB problems where it suddenly disconnects the drives -- sometimes during mid-save. A few of us have had our scores wiped entirely, but my problem is that I my card got severely corrupted -- I can't even format the drive at all. Windows pops up saying "Windows was unable to format the drive."
In other words, something REALLY went screwy with the flash drive's file system, and now I'm stuck with a dead drive. Does anyone have a suggestion I can try to get this card formatted again? (something that could remove the partition info entirely would help).
