View Full Version : Is the P3 850E a good overclocker?

Well, the title pretty much lays it out. I'm looking to get the CUSL2 mobo, and and I know the 700E is a good overclocker, but can't find much about the 850E.
Anyone got one/knows what you can get them up to? Intel specs show all 800 Mhz and up procs to be cb0, so it should go over 1 Ghz pretty easily.

Thanks. Good page. Looks like I'll be able to reach 1.1 Ghz easily. I want to get this one with my Amex Blue, since it should have a nice drop in price in the next 60 days.
CUSL2 is an excellent motherboard.
Right now the 850 is going for around $348. But AMD is going to cut their prices in October. So Intel in reponse will cut their prices at the end of October.

As you can see Raptor the 850 will be a great bang for the buck.
Also be aware that there's supposed to another stepping of the Pentium III. The stepping is cc0. More information at links below:
