Denon makes great sounding receivers. The AVR2800 model usually goes for well over $500. So what`s the catch? They are selling the open boxed models which means the item was purchased and returned. But don`t fear, Outpost does inspect them and makes sure that the unit is functioning perfectly. Check out the specs:

Dolby Digital & DTS A/V Receiver

DDSC-Digital Dual DSP Surround Processor

85 watts X 5 channels power amplifier`

4 digital inputs, 1 coaxial, 3 optical

A/B front (L,R) speaker switching

Video Selector

Banana plug speaker connectors on all channels

Additional DSP simulation modes (Jazz, Concert Hall, Movie, etc.)

S and Composite video switching

Learning and pre-programmed GLO-KEY remote control`

6 Channel External Inputs for future system upgrade

24 bit, 96 kHz D/A converters on all channels

4 pre-outs (L,C,R,Sub)

24 bit, 96 kHz Digital Interface Receiver

These are some great specs. Go and read the REVIEWS. Not too shabby for a unit you are only going to pay less than $300 for, huh?
