Yep, the CompGeeks now have pretty decent digital cameras in their lineup. The Fuji Finepix 4900 comes with a whopping 6X optical zoom. If any cameras brag about have 300X digital zoom, just ignore it. It means nothing. But anyhow, here are the specs:

4.3 Megapixel Resolution using 2.4 Million Sensor Super CCD and PxGA

Color Image Processing Technology

Stylish Metallic Body with Shutter Trigger on Hand Grip

4.3 Million Pixel File (2400 x 1800) using Fujifilm 2.4 Million Octagonal Sensor

6X Aspherical Zoom

f/2.8 - f/11; 13 Steps (35 - 210mm, 35mm Camera Equivalent Zoom)

Manual Focus Control Ring on Lens

2 inch Color LCD Playback Monitor

Full Exposure override, Shutter and Aperture Priority

Hot Shoe Mount

Optional Lens Mounting Ring for use with 55mm Filters or 0.79x wide angle lens

AVI Video Capture Mode; Record and Playback

16MB Smart Media Card

Li-Ion NP-80 Battery

These are very nice features. The camera uses the 2.4 megapixel CCD to create the 4.3 megapixel image through some type of interpolation. There are some debates going on about this, but this camera has pretty good reviews. The SLR-like features like hot shoe, filter adapter, shutter/aperture priority, manual focus, etc. are EXTREMELY attractive. The next cheapest price I found was about $548.00 after shipping on PriceGrabber. COMPGEEKS
