This looks to be a high quality Wireless PC Card. I have had friends use the D-Link PC Cards and their range is half that of mine. I personally have a Lucent (that came with my Orinoco) and an Aironet card (Cisco). Both of them are very high quality PC Cards and have very good range. The reason I mention that is because the TrueMobile 1150 looks very much like my Aironet card. However, I have no data to back that up other than by looking at the image that Dell has on their website. So, you pretty much have to take that chance, but it will probably be a lot better than a D-Link PC Card. Also, Dell has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee, so if it doesn`t please you, you can always send it back. The TrueMobile 1150 PC Card is interoperable with other manufacturers` high speed IEEE 802.11b compliant systems and is fully compliant with the WECA Wi-Fi standard. <ul>
