I bought this blender a few weeks ago, and it`s worked great.* It makes
quick work of ice cubes, perfect for making smoothies.* It`s far FAR better
than the cheap Hamilton Beach unit I had.* There was a burning smell from
the motor on that thing whenever I tried to crush ice.* I`m so glad I got
this Black & Decker one.* Though it`s not the most attractive unit out
there, it works well, cleans up easily (blades are removable, so you can get it
really clean), and has a large 42 ounce jar.* I cannot stress the
importance of picking a blender than has the power to really smash through ice.*
You get free shipping with $49+ purchases, so if you have a friend that might
want one, get two and split the purchase.* <b>
