I love these IBM T series ThinkPad laptops.* They`re built like a tank
(my wife and I can BOTH stand on the T23 at the same time and not break it)
thanks to their titanium casing, and they`re very very reliable.* You can
actually feel the quality difference in the keyboard (best keyboard on a laptop,
great for people who type by feel), hinges (solid and smooth), and casing.*
This one comes pretty stacked, with a P3-M 1.2Ghz processor, 128mb of memory,
48Gb hard drive (yes, this uses one of the fast 5400rpm IBM TravelStar drives,
as opposed to the 4200rpm drives most laptops use), 8x4x24 CD-RW drive, 10/100
NIC, 56k modem, 802.11b wireless Ethernet, SXGA+ 1400x1050 14.1" screen, 16mb
SuperSavage IXC video, and long lasting (over 3 hours) 3200mAh battery.*
All of this weighs just 5.5 lbs too, not like some of the 7 to 9lb monsters out
there.</p>
