"<i>As previously posted, Home Depot did their yearly inventory blowout. Now, they have a special project going on..."Project X". They are completely revamping alot of their stores in the southeast region to include a much expanded "Appliance Section", presumably to compete with Lowe`s. So what`s the "DEAL"...all of their display cabinets go...for pennies on the dollar. My local store sold a $20,000 display for $1500 !!! Here`s the catch...the sale will not be announced, and there is no set date or guidelines. The sale moves from store to store as the remodel crew moves, and the prices are set by the individual store managers to "dispose" of the displays. You have to be at the right place at the right time...orrrrrr...simply ask the store manager when and whats going on. You should get a good idea of when to be back. The displays are all top-of-the-line models. The only drawback is that they are sold "as-is" with no replacement provision, only money-back...if the remodel crews wreck them coming out, you can only get your money back...not new cabinets. As expected, the store employees will try their damndest (sp?)
to scoop them up...my store (the first one to go :-0 ) was like
this...I missed everything...right after I bought 800.00 worth of "inventory cabinets"...oh well...hope this gets posted.</i>"</ul>
Thanks, David. Hopefully our readers can get something great out of this.
