Before you ask me why would you spend $148 on a home phone, just let me say that this is a 5.8 GHz phone, not a 2.4 GHz or the old 900 MHz. This phone was originally $250.99, now on sale for $100 less. It comes with Caller ID/Call Waiting and a Digital Answering System. Amazon actually has a set of this Uniden 5.8 GHz that comes with two phones with 2 phone chargers, and that set should come out to be about $206.99. Sounds sorta ridiculous to pay that much for a home phone, but these are supposed to be able to get VERY good reception.
