Whadda ya think? I think that they should put a parental control (parents have to buy/rent games for kids under certain age) on games, but not total censorship . . .

I agree. Should be like movie theathers (or how they are suppose to work). If you are under 17 and the game is rated R, you can't buy it. As for censoring the games...heck no. I love games where I can shot people up and it looks half way real. I guess thats the my way of not going into the real world and doing it. Take away my games....and I may have to try my watergun out for real!

When you start protecting against the potential of a threat of trouble, then you've taken the ounce of protection one step too far. Frankly, I really don't think violence/sex on TV or movies or even video games leads to any particular behavior. I really think these people you read about in the news are predisposed to violent movies, shoot-em-ups, and porn.
That said, I wouldn't have too much trouble with the ability to purchase games and such. I just really wish there was something better to do for kids than rot in front of a monitor. I'll tell you right goddamn now, if I ever have kids (and god forbid my line extends for another generation), they'd be too busy for something as inane as a video game.
I think it's a painful reversal of roles that the Republicans are espousing family involvement, while the Democrats are talking about censorship. More evidence of how centerism ruins democracy.

Big Jon Chicken, when moving up to Quebec, translated its name to Gros Jos, which translated in local dialect as "Large Breasts". FYI...;)

...would be to have a national registry of violent game purchasers and a mandatory 10 day waiting period before purchase, all run by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Software and Firearms. For those who do not choose to comply with these reasonable request and insist on stockpiling violent games, well you can thank recent presidential orders for the minimal delay the BATSF will take in knocking down violator's doors and 'maintaining the peace'

CLIFF YABLONSKI (http://www.*******************/cliff/ihateyou/) would put it this way.

"####### kids need to get their @@@es kicked into next week.

I have never met you before, but I hate you regardless. If I met you in public, I'd still hate you. I probably wouldn't hate you any more than how much I currently hate you, because I don't think that would be possible. I would probably punch you in the face though. I hate everybody and everything I find on the Internet. My site and the "Law and Order" website are the only places worth visiting. Lowtax convinced me to make a site dedicated to all the people I know and hate, maybe so his stupid 'Something Awful' website won't suck as much. Even though my site is on 'Something Awful', I still hate him. I hate you too. If you have a picture you would like to send in, you can send it to me, but I'll still hate you and I don't think that will ever change no matter what you do. Goodbye."
