The best place I had ever seen was pagecreators.net ... but that seems to have gone down. Anybody know a different place with good prices? I already have the domain, thanks to the Got Deals? Board :)

I am getting ADSL with a static IP and plan to run a Linux web server. I would be willing to host it. I know it isnt very professional, so would be willing to strike a reasonable deal. Like peanuts in exchange for mbs ;) You expecting a lot of traffic?

It's possible that I would be getting a lot, but not sure...

The service which I am currently using is nomonthlyfees.com and they seem to be very reliable. The support for the site is excellent. The cost for the service is $200 for lifetime hosting and 200 mb of space, 5 gb of bandwidth per month as well as E-mail accounts, mailing lists, etc.

If you want more info, E-mail me directly at: [email protected]

I use XO (used to be called Concentric) for $20 a month you get 200mb disk, 5gb bandwidth, 20 email accounts, PERL, PHP, shell, web based mail, dial-up, etc. Only minuses are no mysql yet and its PHP3 not PHP4 right now.

You manage your site through a web interface and change everything real-time like bandwidth, logging, files, users, etc.

They do give you a hosting account with your DSL too but the disk space, bandwidth and email accounts is less than what I have above. Ended up being cheaper paying for hosting seperate and using the one with the DSL for our clan site. 4 static ips with the DSL too. :)
