USB 1.1 supports 1.5 and 12 mbps. Decent speed, but imagine using that with four devices while transfering data. It can get unbearably slow. USB 2.0 supports 1.5, 12, and a whopping 480 mbps. With these devices so cheap, you really should upgrade if your motherboard doesn`t have it already. The Compgeeks have a PCI card for $10.50, but use coupon code: <b>GOTAPEX</b> and get it for $9.45!
