Yes, they're Heavy Duty Energizers and not alkaline. But for 2 cents each ($.43 for 24 of them) with FREE shipping, ya really can't gripe about it.
And yes, the url is long. :) If it doesn't all link, just copy and paste it.

Update: Just got this from my email confirmation.
Apparently the shipping is rebated.
"If you chose "Ground" as your shipping method, EqualFooting will pay your shipping costs as part of a limited time offer. Simply contact our Customer Advisor Center via email, phone, or fax and let us know what your shipping costs were, and we'll immediately cut you a check for that amount. You'll get your shipping costs back in days."

Call me crazy, but I cancelled my order just now. It just makes me nervous to order something without knowing ALL of the costs up front and the fact that we aren't let in on the actual shipping charges, etc bothers me. I have this nightmare of seeing a $500.00 shipping charge on my credit card because "industrial batteries" technically fall under some crazy haz-met code or something. Whether they cut you a check within days or not remains to be seen. You guys let me know how it works out...
Hi everyone,
I just found out from the Anandtech forums that the pricing was wrong - it should have been .43 per battery, as most of you might have suspected. I called in, confirmed that it was indeed incorrect, and asked the representative to cancel the order.
You'll probably be getting some email or notification that the pricing was wrong, but I figured I'd let you know ahead of time.

Damn.. I have like $1 left on a webcertificate. I was just about to order 2 packs when I read more of the thread. :(
Yeah, I know it stinks! I could have used those batteries too! My Emusic Nomad takes up a lot of battery power, and all those Mag Lites I got eat up 2 AAs as well! :)
You know you're a GotApex/Hot Deals addict when you have to depend on hot deals to run products you got from other hot deals.

Just out of curiosity, what's the difference between heavy duty and alkaline? Can you use them interchangably?

I had $4 left on a $5 webcertificate after that $1 chocolate deal from Dan's awhile back... just ordered 9 packs, let's see what happens.

Well shucks, two of my deals died in the last week. Maybe I should retire and stop posting deals? :(
