That thing at the roof of your mouth behind your two front teeth

Just had really hot pizza (after listening to the Radiohead album). Why the heck do we still have that ridge thing behind our two front teeth that gets so easily burned. It hurts SO MUCH. I would think evolution would get rid of that. That's why I think we're still closer to apes then a civilized race. Just cause of that stupid thing at the roof of your mouth. Damn, I hate that thing.

Im not sure I understand...thats just a contour of the roof of your mouth, it doesn't necessarily hurt more than other parts of your mouth when burned, it's probably that you just keep burning thta particular area........my advice to you is to only eat cold foods that way you can avoid this problem in the future

Well, according to the depths of my mind (which are deep but only see to hold useless crap) if that nifty piece of skin wasn't there, you'd be leaking snot into your mouth. Now, that would negate the need to add salt to your food (yuck) but would also create some problems when it came to swappin bodily fluids, eating and the like. Imagine having to brush your sinuses in the morning. Enticing

Rest assured chosenfool...im am certainly sure you have one, what you have Im not quite sure, but everybody has a roof of their mouth unless you can stick your finger in your mouth and touch your brain

If anyone believes in evolution(which I don't), then they should consider negative evolution. This is where things evolve into a lower state over time. Observing the state of humanity, it's not very hard to consider. By the way, examine all of the miraculous workings of your body, how it heals itself, the range of senses that you have, your ability to create ideas, and on and on, and marvel at how amazing the design of it is. Be thankful that it heals itself after eating hot pizza instead of the alternative.
