Gateway has officially launched their 30 inch LCD TV for <b>$3,499.99</b>. While this may seem expensive it does have a lot of advantages over other types of TVs. Plasmas and Rear-Projection sets are susceptible to burn-ins. LCDs also use way less power than CRTs. Not to mention they are a lot lighter, so you can place this set pretty much anywhere.
