How do I connect my dvd playa to my tv?

Well..I got a dvd player on my computer but I would like to somehow watch my dvds on my television. Does anyone know what I need to accomplish this. someone mentioned to me that i needed a tv card. any kind of help would be very much appreciated..thanks..

You need a video card (or TV Card) with video out. It is usualy an S-Video output so make sure your TV has S-Video input.

Yeah, and you could also buy a DVD decoder card if your video/CPU isn't strong enuf to handle good decoding. Its a nicer picture, but more expensive. The decoder card should have TV outputs.
