This is the lowest price Dell has ever offered their Precision 360
Workstation for. It`s built on an Intel i875p chipset motherboard with 8x
AGP, two S-ATA slots, ECC & non-ECC dual channel DDR SDRAM support, built in
10/100/1000 networking (Intel Pro/1000 MT Gigabit chip), AC97 sound, and eight
(yeah, eight) USB 2.0 ports. This one comes with a free upgrade from a
2.26Ghz P4 with a 533Mhz system bus to a 2.66Ghz P4 with a 533Mhz system bus OR
a 2.4Ghz HyperThreaded P4 with an 800Mhz system bus. I`d probably opt for
the 800mhz system based one, but the difference between the two is probably
pretty minimal (little faster in some applications, little slower in others).
There`s a $150 mail in rebate, but if you want, you can get a free upgrade to a
full 1GB of memory instead.... not too bad of a deal. Oh yeah, and it
comes with a full 3 year, next business day in-home warranty (basically a $149
