red alert 2 INCOMING!

Here we are on the verge of yet another Westwood Studios game. Red Alert is scheduled to be pumped out this month, and considering how this game isn't made by Blizzard, it very well might be on time. Westwood (Virgin) has already had a number of public demos where people could play it for a few hours at this LAN arcade or this computer store, but i haven't heard any news of a golden CD or even a date...although Westwood did send me an e-mail telling me to order the game in advance because it is coming out this month. Let's all just get down on our knees and pray that it isn't just another Tiberian Sun (which was a real let down compared to the rest of the series). This one had better not destroy the Red Alert series or I'll be pissed, but oh well.
Who else is looking to this sequel? I saw it at E3 and was a little disappointed, but I didn't get to actually play; I was just a little disappointed with the graphics because it is difficult to make a strategy game incredibly stunning, and that was what i was hoping for...but oh well.

I also was disapointed with Tiberian Sun. Tiberian Sun didn't live up to all the hype (a near impossible task grant you). People who have played Red Alert 2 in previews say its fun and probably the best of the series. Its nice to see Westwood or EA not overhyping it unlike Tiberian Sun.

I'm not sure what Blizzard has to do with Red Alert 2 or Westwood Studios. Westwood Studios is owned by EA while Blizzard is owned by Havas {a French company} which also owns Sierra.

i messed up and said blizzard one too many times, so anyone who reads my post will not understand what sbp is asking about, but he is not just being stupid; i changed one of my mistakes. What I meant to say about Blizzard was that they always delay their games, and that I trust Westwood's dates over Blizzard's...so bugger off (i'm tired...ok?).

i cant wait!!! this game is gonna be craZy...plus i have to agree that tib sun wasn't that good at all and the whole concept kinda sucked, i like the more realistic tanks and what not that makes you think your actually fighting :)
