New Engine

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a new engine for my car for cheap. Its a 1996 Ford Probe GT and the cheapest I have found thus far is $4000 or so, and that is for a rebuilt. I have contacted my local junk yards but so far I havent been able to find anything. I even tried to get a new replacement from Ford but they didnt have any available. Any help would be appreciated.
