pci or agp

im trying to upgrade my sons system..i have a savage 4 pci card in my system..a guy i know sold me a savage 4 agp...same card..pci and agp only difference..i want to put the agp in my system..it wont see it.i have done everything ..i think..i have a chaintech m/b..any ideas will be very helpfull..

Ugh. Chaintech motherboard. UGHH! A S3 Savage Goat blower. It was called that because it blew goats.

If the pci savage card was working why try to use an agp savage card zachyor? If the pci card is working just leave it in there.

S3 had a notoriously poor reputation for drivers. Personally I'd take that goat blowing card and chuck at the sidewalk to see how high it can bounce.
