Computer specs:
CPU - AMD Athlon K7 650MHz
Motherboard - Asus K7M
Video Card - Creative Labs TNT2 Ultra w/ TV Out
Sound Card - Turtle Beach Montego II Quadzilla
Network Card - 3Com 3C509B-TPO
Hard Drive - Quantum Fireball 8.4GB 5400RPM
RAM - 128MB PC100 SDRAM
CDROM - Creative Labs 52mx
CDRW - Hewlett Packard 8100i
with all of the latest drivers/bios versions

The problem is in all 3d games my computer completely locks up, the screen freezes and the keyboard doesnt respond at all (i have to manually restart) some games it takes longer than others, the two worst ones are Quake III Arena and Baldur's Gate II (only when 3d acceleration is turned on in BGII). Other games, like Half-life don't do it nearly as bad.

I've tried clean installs of Windows 98/ME and neither have fixed my problem. I'm using the latest drivers from your website and Blaster Control 4.03. I've also tried using the latest NVIDIA reference drivers but i still have the same problems. I've probably formatted my computer around 10 times trying different things to fix this problem. PLEEEEASEEEE help me i just bought a new 19inch monitor and quake3 looks sooooo good im just dying to waste a few days playing it.

i'll send $10 by money order or paypal or anything like that to anyone who can help me fix this problem, its driving me crazy.

the video card is a creative labs tnt2 ultra w/ tv out, not overclocked.

i've also tried putting the viper 770 (tnt2) from my other computer into it but it still locks up.

ignore this post now
i closed intellipoint and blaster control and quake didnt lock up (atleast i got to tier 4 without it locking up, before it would usually lockup fighting crash in the welcome level thing)

this may sound funny.. but.........
disable your active desktop
and change your color to 16bit

everything seems to be working now except baldur's gate with 3d turned on, but that doesnt really bother me since it looks the same with and without 3d.

if "view as webpage" isn't checked when you right click on the desktop that means active desktop is disabled right?
