RAM Deal on Deals Page...

Anyone have any luck finding the $83 deal that GotApex mentioned on the front Deals page? I went to the website, but I couldn't find any NEC memory (or any other memory for that matter) close to that price . . .

On the deals page it said that you have to call in and mention price watch or order the memory online and mention price watch in the comment box.

Customer service and they informed me that it was a mistake.

I made an order a few hours ago online, I wonder if they will honor it.

They just fixed the mistake around 10 AM EST. I went to pricewatch and saw the deal for $83 NEC around 9:30 and when I went back to the page at 10 to get the number the price was removed from the pricewatch.com listing.

Oh well, I guess 256 should be enough on my comp. No need to waste more money. I really gotta stop doing all these deals. My credit card is slowing being maxed out.

hmm, I just called and he told me they had 750 of them and sold out in about 2 hrs....this makes me wonder...

I wonder too. This could've been a trick to grab our attention and visit their site.

I called and talked to a customer service guy about the memory I ordered. He said the $83 price was supposed to be for the 128mb.
