Reincarnation is a fact. The only problem is that most people in western society insist on believing that the soul only incarnates once on this earth and then returns to "heaven" after physical death. This is an enormous shame because understanding the idea of reincarnation and karma is vital to understanding what spirituality is all about.
A longer journey than you think
To understand reincarnation you have to understand that the soul is actually on a much longer journey than some people would have you believe. Your physical life here, now on earth only represents one in a whole string of many lives on earth. After physical death has brought your current life to an end, you, that is to say your soul, will inevitably return to continue its spiritual path.
A physical body is needed
Your physical body is simply an envelope that your soul needs in order to come into and experience the physical world. Without a physical body your soul still exists but it exists in another dimension that is invisible to our physical world and it will not be able to engage in the learning process until it finds another physical body in which it can reincarnate. That is because the souls connection with the physical world (through the physical body) is the only means by which that soul can learn and develop its spirituality. The Earth is in fact the only place where a soul can develop its spirituality.
The meaning of life
Do you ever wonder what the meaning of life is? Most people here on earth do. What you will notice, however, is that the ones who have become conscious of their spirituality do not ask this question any more as they have found the answer. The answer to this question is really quite simple. The meaning of life here on earth is to increase and expand your spiritual awareness so that you can help to create paradise on earth. Many people are convinced that paradise is the world that awaits us after our death. If this were true it would imply that we have no responsibility in helping to create a better world here in the physical world. It would imply that there is no reason to our birth here on earth because ultimately, all that we need to do is wait until we die and then everything will be fine again.
When you know that you have a responsibility in trying to create a better world then you start to understand what the meaning of life is. We have to stop looking at our life as a singular event that ends as soon as our physical incarnation ends. This life you are living here is but one in a whole series of many physical lives. Lives that you have had and lives that you will have in the future.
Maybe it is easier to understand when you know that the soul arrives on this earth in order to learn. Our lives here are actually lessons in spirituality. How much you learn in each lesson is dependant on how much you want to learn. Unlike the lessons you had at school, the quality of the lesson and therefore how much you learn is not dependent on the quality of the teacher but purely on the quality of the student.
Karma and Reciprocal Action
Each life is a logical continuation of the preceding one and what you do in one life will certainly have an effect on the kind of life you have in your subsequent incarnation. This brings us to the concept of karma and "reciprocal action". Simply put, karma is the sum of all the actions, words and deeds that you have engaged in in this and all previous lives. The karma that you have built up for yourself in the course of time determines what kind of life you experience now.
A thread of causality
This is because when you engage in an action that has effects on other people, you are actually weaving a thread of causality in the etheric world which will ultimately come back to you in some form or other. What that means in plain english is that the action that you have carried out (be it good or bad) has created an event that will need to be paid back at some time in the future. If it was an action that created sadness or pain in other people then you will be paid back with something that will make you experience the same kind of sadness or pain. If your original action createdhappiness or joy then your "return on investment" will be of a positive kind that you will also benefit from and enjoy.
This is because of the law of reciprocal action: What you do to others will inevitably be done to you at a later time.Whether it be the following day, week, month, year or life, this law cannot be broken. You will experience yourself, in the course of time, the same actions that you have carried out upon others. This rule is a part of the fundamental laws of creation.
It is a bit like Isaac Newton's third law of motion. This law states that for each action there is an equal and opposite reaction. It is the same in your life. For every action that you carry out that has an effect on someone, there will be an equal action that your soul will experience at some time in the future, be it in this life or a subsequent life. Without knowing it, Newton also discovered the spiritual "law of motion".
"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you,for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. "

The truth lies in the middle
Most people have a hard time accepting the fact that there are hidden forces at work in their lives. We like to think that we are in total control of our own lives, that there is no such thing as fate and that our actions will precisely determine what happens in the future. On the other hand, it would also be a mistake to see our lives as being completely controlled by these hidden forces. The truth, as is often the case, lies somewhere in the middle.
We need to understand that man has been born with a free will. That means that we are able to make our own decisions based on our own thought processes and that we therefore take responsibility for our own actions. This free will is an integral part of the world and the life that we live in. Without it we would not be able to walk along our spiritual path. This is because following a spiritual path involves a conscious act on behalf of the person. It involves the will of the person. Otherwise there is no spirituality involved , merely an automatic following. Spirituality must involve the soul for it represents a path that is consciously followed by that soul.
You are a partner to the cosmic forces
When we understand these two concepts, that of free will and that of hidden forces in our lives then a more accurate interpretation of your life is made possible. As was mentioned, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. That is to say, our lives are shaped by both our free will and these hidden forces. The path our life takes is ultimately determined by both these factors. You, as an independent soul, are a partner together with the cosmic forces. That is why it is essential that you begin to understand the role these forces play. If you do not understand this then you cannot progress to the next step which is finding out how to use these powers to your own advantage.
The path your life takes is very much determined by the combination of your free will and the hidden cosmic forces at work all around you.

From the moment we are able to receive and interpret messages in our life, from the very first years, we are told how important it is to make a distinction between what is right and what is wrong. Whilst this education is vital in order to show us what we are and are not allowed to do, what is acceptable to the society around us, this chapter will try to demonstrate the importance of being able to step outside of this habit of labelling everything you see as either good or bad.
Seeing the essence
In this world we have to try to stop seeing things as either good or bad. This might seem difficult to understand but remember that with a non-judgemental view one is able to penetrate more deeply to the essence of a situation. To attach a label of good or bad to something means to have established and formed an opinion which will often stop any further investigation into the true nature of what you are seeing. By not forming an opinion we remain open to the situation and are therefore more sensitive to other signals which might explain why certain things, people or situations are as they are.
Let us take the example of a man who has been found guilty of repeated violent rape. Without thinking we would label the person as bad and would probably comment that he needs to be severely punished in order to pay for his sins.
Now assume that we want to discover the reason for his repeated violent sexual assaults and come to the discovery that during the whole of his childhood he was sexually abused by an uncle and was physically abused by an alcoholic step-father. Who should take the blame now? The rapist who was originally the victim or the adults who tortured both his body and soul, scarring him mentally and emotionally for the rest of his life?
Understanding the reason
This does not mean that we cannot validate the feelings of the victims of the rapist or need to lighten the sentence that he should receive. That is a matter for society to decide. The exercise here is simply to let you see how futile it is to label things as good or bad. Behind all things there is a reason. By understanding the reason, we lose the need to judge. The only question you need to ask yourself is how far do you want to discover the reason things happen, the reason people do the things they do. The deeper you search, the more you will understand and the more you understand the easier it is to follow a spiritual path because you will be better able to discern that which has real value to your life from that which has none.
I can guarantee you that once you have made a real effort to stop judging all things around you you will feel that your eyes are really opening for the first time. You will feel as though a veil is being lifted from your eyes.

"Forgiving is the greatest gift you can give to yourself."
The act of truly forgiving someone who has done you wrong is an act of great spriritual significance. The consequences can be explained on 2 levels:
Firstly, at a physiological level, forgiving means allowing your body to heal itself from the effects of the negative thoughts you have with regard to the person in question. As explained in Chopra's book Quantum Healing negative thoughts have a direct impact on your physical body. This is because when a person is experiencing negative thoughts, poisonuos thoughts, they are in fact creating just that: poison. The brain can be considered as the worlds most sophisticated pharmacy. Every thought results in the production of certain chemicals in the brain. This is the chemical explanation of what happens in the brain during the thinking process. By keeping negative thoughts with regard to someone, you are in fact ensuring that your body receives a regular supply of the poisons associated with those negative thoughts. This does not have to be in any great quantity but if the supply continues long enough then you can rest assured that eventually the effects will manifest themselves at the physical level, that is to say, in the form of ailments such as stomach ulcers or even cancer.
Secondly, at a spiritual level forgiveness means letting go of the emotions that are preventing you from experiencing love in your life. When you understand that experiencing love is an integral part of developing your spirituality then it only stands to reason that anything that prevents you from experiencing that love in your daily life can only help in bringing your spiritual level down again.
Now, forgiving someone whom you have a reason to hate is certainly not easy. Indeed it could be argued that it is one of the most difficult things to do in your life, depending on what you have experienced at the hands of other people. In most cases you will not want to give up feeling angry towards someone as this gives you a kind of security in your emotions, it allows your dissatisfaction at a past situation to find an outlet.
Seeing the lessons
Maybe the first step in forgiving is learning to see the lessons in everything that happens to you. Once you are able to see the message in what was "done to you" then you can start to disassociate the doer from the deed, that is to say the person who did you wrong with what they did. This is because, at a deeper level, what was done to you did not originate from the other person but from your own karmic "balance sheet". That is to say it was an action that was a result from an earlier action that you carried out either in this life or in a previous life. The action was always going to happen to you. The person who did it was siimply the tool by which your original action was able to return to you. As soon as you can understand this the path to forgiveness is made considerably easier.
Nobody is going to tell you that this is an easy road to follow but what you do need to do is to understand that there could be some truth in the words you are reading here. Once you have done that then you can gradully start applying their meaning to your own life. The benefits to your own life will be immediate and obvious.

What we need to understand in this world is that it is not only our deeds that can have a direct and beneficial or harmful effect on the world around us. Our thoughts are just as important. The problem is that since our thoughts are invisible to all except the person thinking them, we believe that thoughts have no effect.
At the first level we need to understand that our thoughts have a direct effect on ourselves. This is because our thoughts are actually being projected into the world around us and help to shape the world which we then experience. It is maybe hard to visualise but once you have understood the power of your thoughts then you will see how important it is to purify your thoughts.
This purification is important for 2 reasons:
As was mentioned in the chapter on forgiveness the thoughts that you have are actually chemical reactions insideyour brain and these reactions are what create the chemicals which then travel around your body. Negative thoughts will simply produce harmful chemicals that ultimately have an effect on your physical body.
The thoughts that you have are also interacting with the world around you. At a much more subtle and invisible level the thoughts that you emanate will interact with the physical world and help bring about what is being created in your mind, i.e. what your thoughts are shaping.
Thought-power is in fact immensely more powerful than most people will ever imagine.
Cause and Effect
Often we can see that people who have a positive outlook on life and manage to make the best out of the situations in which they find themselves are much happier than those who are constantly complaining about all aspects of their life. Of course, it would be very easy to turn the cause and effect around and explain this by saying that the positive people are positive because they are experiencing a positive life and the negative people have become so because fate has been less kind to them. This can be true but only up to a certain point. After a while it will be the negative or positive thoughts of the person that will be responsible for continuing the type of life that they experience.
The duration and intensity of the thoughts in question will determine how quickly and to what extent they become the reality of the thinker. Someone who is constantly negative in their thoughts, who only ever sees the negative side of things and who seldom has a positive comment to make will only ever experience the negative side of life. Their mind is shutting them off from seeing another side of life which is there for the taking, if only they could see it. If only they would make the effort to change the pattern of their thoughts.
What unfortunately happens is that this pattern turns into a vicious circle. Someone is first dealt a blow in life in terms of a certain misfortune. They then start to think in a negative way because of the difficulty in seeing this misfortune as a lesson in life. Instead of seeing a lesson they see it as an unfair turn of events. Something that they did not deserve. As time goes on this negative view of things will bring about another misfortune (due to the power of that persons thoughts) which will encourage the person to be even more negative with respect to their own life, thus bringing about even more misery. It is the projection of a persons negative thoughts that will bring about those negative events that they are always complaining about.
Often you will see that such a person becomes very cynical about the world in which he/she lives. This cynicism will give them a false sense of reality; they might be experiencing a greater amount of misfortune in life but at least they are able to better interpret the world around them. The reality, however, is somewhat different. The world has stayed exactly the same. The only difference is that they have darkened the filter through which they view it.
The tragedy here is that it is precisely this cynicism that will label any valuable and well-meant advice as totally naive. Any attempt to persuade them that all they need to do is start changing their thoughts will mostly be met by a cynical and contemptious sneer.
From a scientific perspective, the words on this page are impossible to prove. That is why it is so important that you understand and feel the truth of what you are reading here. If you do not, nobody will prove them for you. Use your intuition to find this out.
If you understand and feel this truth then maybe you will have understood another important point: that all great truths in this life cannot be proven by our current scientific knowledge. Science and technology are predominantly concerned with explaining and controlling the physical world around us. They still have no idea of the world that is invisible to the electron microscope.
We can think of this in another way. If our scientific knowledge is so great, why is it still incapable of proving that the Creator exists?
"Take care of your thoughts
for they become words
Take care of your words
For they become your behaviour
Take care or your behaviour
For it becomes habit
Take care of your habits
For they become your character
Take care of your character
For it becomes your destiny"

The word chakra means vortex or spinning wheel in the Sanskrit language. Chakras can be found on the back of the body along the spine, on the top of the head and on the forehead. There are seven main chakras. They are invisible to the human eye and their size is about the size of a small coin. They can be described as energy portals, places where energy can enter the human body.
One way of understanding the function of the chakras is to see them as the link between the physical nervous system in the human body and the non-material universal energy which is present everywhere in the universe.
Chakras form the connecting link that allows this non-material universal energy to enter the material physical body. Upon entering the physical body, this energy will then be carried by the body's nervous system to the places where it is most needed.
Although there is very little mention of chakras in conventional medical literature, they form an integral part of the body's energy and nervous system. The reason so little is mentioned about them in conventional medicine is that they are not visible to the naked eye, even through a microscope. Chakras exist in the realm lying between the physical and the non-physical. And that is precisely where their function lies - in transforming non-material universal energy into a physical energy in the body that can be used to help the bodys natural healing process.
When performing chakra therapy, or universal energy transfer, it is important to know the function of each chakra.
The first chakra[starting from the bottom] is the only one that is never used in a UE transfer. It represents an unusually powerful source of energy and power and is for the time being a chakra that should be left alone.
The second chakra is located at the level of the coccyx. This chakra regulates and enhances the physical strength of the body, as well as the internal energy of the human being. It is connected to the sexual organs and the bladder. If we are overly inclined towards base pleasures we naturally waste much of our strength without being able to gain it back. Our body then slowly weakens. On the other hand, if we are wise enough to keep this life force intact, this chakra will become highly developed. It will direct this life force to the brain, thereby rendering us more perceptive day by day.
The third chakra is located on the spine at the level of the navel. It regulates everything that pertains to digestion, excretion and the production of blood for the body. It uses the energy contained in our daily food to nourish our internal or life energy. This chakra regulates the activities of the stomach, kidneys, liver, spleen and intestines. If this regulation is weak, many visceral diseases develop, particularly cancers.
The fourth chakra is located on the spine at the level of the heart. It pertains to the soul - mercy, compassion, purity, and nobility of soul, absolute goodness, tolerance, forgiveness, and especially the endless love that embraces the universe. When this great vital point is unblocked the chakra begins to spin at a very high speed and all the cells in our body vibrate at such a high frequency that we are able to express our love and compassion to all people. If this chakra remains sealed and does not function, although we may speak of mercy, our words will have no concrete effect. In the context of energy transfers, this chakra is used in the treatment of heart ailments and problems with the blood.
The fifth chakra deals with the respiratory system, nose, lungs, throat and skin. In fact it is connected to all those organs that are in contact with the air. It is located on the spine at about the same level as the Adam's apple.
The sixth chakra is often referred to as the third or divine eye. It is located in the middle of the forehead, about one centimeter above the middle point of the eyebrows. If properly developed in a person this chakra can be used in transferring energy to any point in the universe, thus overcoming the boundaries of time and space. Someone with a well-developed chakra 6 will be better able to listen to their intuition as this chakra is partly responsible for making the connection with the divine side of life.
The seventh chakra is found at the top most point of the head. It is the chakra that is used when there are problems with the nervous system as a whole and is an important chakra when one needs to increase a bodys general energy level. A well-developed chakra 7 is an indication that someone has reached a very high level of spirituality.

This bestseller (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0446671223/o/qid=972340045/sr=2-2/103-1753741-9471008) by James Redfield has been responsible for an enormous shift in people's consciousness towards a greater awareness that there just may be something more to our existence, a greater meaning, than we first thought.
The First Insight: A Critical Mass
In the first chapter the book already touches on one of the most important qualities you need to develop in order to increase your awareness of life: that of increasing your sensitivity to the meaning behind all the things that happen to you, all the situations that you find yourself in. Until you realise that everything that happens to you has a particular reason in your life, then you will not be able to see the messages being sent to you, you will not be able to understand the real meaning to your own life.
The first Insight, as the author calls them, is the awareness that hidden forces are at work beneath everyday life.
These hidden forces manifest themselves through coincidences and chance occurrences. Once we realise that a coincidence or occurrence might have a more profound underlying meaning in our life then we can start using these hidden forces for our own benefit. This means of course that a coincidence is not really a coincidence at all. It is more an occurrence with a hidden meaning to it.
The second insight: The Longer Now
The second Insight is about understanding the history of human civilisation and development from a larger perspective. It extends our consciousness of historical time. It wakes us up and makes us think again about what is behind life on this planet, why we are here and where we are evolving to.
At the beginning of the second millennium, around 1000 A.D. peoples' lives in the western world were defined by powerful churchmen of the Christian church. They had great influence on peoples' thoughts and created a reality that placed their idea about God's plan for mankind at the very centre of life. The world they described was spiritual and all earthly phenomena were explained in their terms. These church representatives were there to interpret the scriptures and tell the people if they were on the right path to salvation.
This medieval world view began to fall apart in the 14th and 15th centuries. The increasing hypocrisy of certain representatives of the church (breaking the laws of chastity, accepting bribes from government officials etc.) began to cast doubts on their integrity and the role of the church in offering spiritual guidance to the masses. As a consequence their absolute authority in matters religious began to be seriously questioned. This lead to a rebellion led by Martin Luther calling for a break from Papal Christianity and consequently new churches appeared aiming to give people more access to the scriptures.
In the 17th century astronomers finally proved that the universe did not centre around the earth but that the sun formed the centre of the solar system which itself formed a small part of the universe. With this discovery came the realisation that mankind had lost its place at the centre of the universe. Therefore the nature of God and mans relation to it needed drastic revision.
With this awareness the Modern Age begins, bringing with it an increasing democratic spirit and a continuing distrust of royal and papal authority. A new method of exploring the nature of the world was needed and this was achieved by devoting more resources to the Scientific Method. Explorers were sent out with the task of formulating a new understanding of the world. Unfortunately this seemed an endless process in itself and so we contented ourselves with this new preoccupation - employing scientific methods to manipulate the world for our own benefit, raising the standard of living and increasing our sense of security in the world. We created an economic, material security to replace the spiritual one we had lost. The question of why we were alive, of what was going on spiritually was pushed aside and repressed altogether. The awareness of coincidences explained in the first Insight represents an awakening from this preoccupation.
The third insight: A Matter of Energy
The third Insight describes a new understanding of the physical world. Humans will learn to perceive what was formerly an invisible type of energy.
In the 20th century, two developments in the world of science occurred which opened our eyes to the mystery of the universe. One development was in the field of quantum physics. This area of physics has shown us that when we look at patterns of energy at smaller and smaller levels startling results can be seen. Experiments have shown that when we start to break apart small aspects of this energy into elementary particles and try to observe how they operate, the act of observation itself alters the results, as if these particles are influenced by what the experimenter expects.
The other development was in the work that Albert Einstein devoted much of his life to. Einstein's research seemed to indicate that what we perceive as hard matter is mostly empty space with different patterns of energy running through it. This, of course, includes ourselves.
In other words, the basic stuff of the universe, at its most elementary level, is starting to look like a kind of pure energy that is malleable to human intention and expectation in a way that completely defies our old mechanistic model of the universe. It is as though our expectation itself causes our energy to flow out into the world and affect other energy systems.
The third Insight maintains that some time near the end of the second millennium, the human race will discover a new energy which forms the basis of and radiates outward from all things, including ourselves. The human perception of this energy first begins with a heightened sensitivity to beauty. It can be argued that beauty is relative but the characteristics we all ascribe to beauty are always the same. A beautiful object has presence, sharpness of form and displays vivid colour. It seems to stand out from the rest, shining, almost iridescent.
The next level of perception is to see the energy field hovering about everything that seems to display this beauty.
Develop focusing on things in their totality, not just on a certain part of the object but on the whole thing. All you have to do is see the beauty and extend from there. Once you have achieved this level of perception you will begin to observe the energy contained in natural environments and it can be noticed that the older and more unspoilt environments are, the more energy they have.
The fourth insight: The Struggle for Power
The third Insight describes the universe as a vast system of energy. The fourth Insight shows us how humans compete unconsciously for the only part of this energy they are open to: the part that flows between people
The violence humans treat each other with comes from the urge to control and dominate one another. We seek to outwit and control the other person to get a psychological lift. The movement of this energy between people is a way of understanding what humans are receiving when we compete and argue and harm each other. When we control another human being we receive their energy. We fill up at their expense. If a person is winning an argument, convincing the other that he/she is correct then the losers energy flows into the winners, leaving the loser feeling drained and weak, somewhat confused.
Most people go through their lives in a constant, unconscious hunt for someone else's energy. Occasionally we meetsomeone who voluntarily gives us their energy, who actually wants us, as it were, to define their situation for them.
This usually does not last. Most people are not strong enough to keep giving energy. That is why many relationships eventually turn into power struggles. The two people first link up energy and then ight over who is going to control it.
When someone dominates you psychically they actually take your mind away. You do not have the energy or mental clarity anymore to argue convincingly. Your mental power is actually transferred to the other.
Understanding the fourth Insight is a matter of seeing the human world as a vast competition for energy and thus for power. Only after we have fully understood this can we break free from this competition to receive energy from another source...
The Fifth Insight: The Message of the Mystics
The fifth Insight brings with it a new understanding of what has been called mystical consciousness.
For most people this consciousness remains merely an intellectual concept. But for others, they will experience flashes or glimpses of this state of mind during the course of their lives. This state of mind has something to do with spontaneously becoming aware of the true state of the universe, our environment and its whole history (thus how we came about on this earth). This experience is actually the key to ending human conflict on earth because during this experience we are receiving energy from another source. Eventually we will learn to tap into this resource at will.
Food is the first way of gaining energy. In order to totally absorb this energy the food must be savoured, appreciated.
Taste is the doorway to extracting more energy out of the food. You must be able to appreciate taste.
Everything around us has energy. To absorb this energy you have to learn to appreciate these things, places etc.
When you appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of things you receive energy. Connecting with the energy feels like excitement, then euphoria and finally love. When you get to a level where you feel love then you can send the energy back just by willing it so. Do not try to love these things but allow love to enter you. Eventually you will be able to call up this sensation at will.
The Sixth Insight: Clearing the Past
The sixth Insight is about coming to terms with the particular method we use in controlling others for more energy so that we can stop doing this for good. This is what we must do before we can connect with the energy on a permanent basis.
The first step in the process of getting clear is to bring our particular method of competing for energy, our control drama, into full consciousness. We must discover for ourselves how we are often manipulating others to gain energy.
Getting rid of this habit is difficult at first because it still works unconsciously. The key to letting go is to bring it fully into consciousness. We can do this by understanding that our particular method of controlling others is one we learned in childhood to get attention, to get energy moving our way.
The next step is to look back in your early family life to see how this habit was formed. Seeing its inception keeps our way of controlling in our consciousness. Most of our family members had their own control drama which meant we needed one to win energy back. It is always in relation to our close family members that we develop a control drama. Once we recognise energy dynamics we can see past the control strategies and see what is actually happening. Then we can go further and reinterpret our own family experience.
Nearly everyone manipulates for energy, either aggressively, directly forcing people to pay attention to them, or passively, playing on peoples' sympathy or curiosity to gain attention. Basically there are four kinds of control dramas that people use to get energy from others: Intimidator, Interrogator, Aloof and Poor Me.
An Intimidator will threaten you, either verbally or physically, forcing you to pay attention to him thus giving him energy.
An Interrogator sets up a drama by asking questions and probing into another's world with the specific intention of finding something wrong. Then they criticise what they find wrong forcing the other to become self-conscious and pay attention to what the interrogator is doing and thinking about so as not to do anything wrong that the interrogator would notice. This psychic deference gives him the energy he desires.
An Aloof person looks mysterious and secretive. This "cautiousness" is a way of pulling someone into their drama by making them try to figure out exactly what is going on with them. By doing this, they make the other give them their full attention and thus their energy.
A Poor Me character will tell another about nasty things that are happening to them, implying maybe that the other is responsible or through their inaction that they are responsible for this continuing misfortune. What they say puts the person in a position where they have to defend themselves against the idea that they are not doing enough for this person.
Some people use more than one drama in different circumstances but most have one dominant control drama that they tend to repeat depending on what worked well in their early family life. A parent classified as an Intimidator would very often create a Poor Me control drama in their child. The child can only appeal to the mercy of the person, trying to give them a guilt trip. If this doesn't work the child will sooner or later explode in anger and can eventually become an Intimidator too. An Interrogator will often bring out an aloof reaction in the other person. Aloof parents can easily produce interrogators out of their children. When the parents are rarely there or ignore the child, the child will have to probe and pry to find something wrong in order to force attention and energy their way.
There is usually the tendency to see these control dramas in other people but to think that we ourselves are totally free of them. We must transcend this illusion if we are to evolve any further. Only then can we find a higher meaning in our lives, a higher spiritual reason we were born to our particular family. Then we can begin to get clear about who we actually are.
To find your true spiritual identity involves looking at your life as one long story which contains a higher meaning.
Important questions in this respect: Why was I born to this particular family? What did each of my parents stand for?
What were their respective guiding principles? What did they try to teach me? What could have been done better in their lives?
What you would have changed about both your mother and your father is what you yourself are subconsciously working on. You were actually born to take a higher perspective on what they stood for. Your path is about discovering a truth that is a higher synthesis of what these two people believed. By bringing this realisation into your consciousness, the whole process becomes much clearer and you can begin to realise your true potential much faster and with more energy than before.
The Seventh Insight: Engaging the Flow
The seventh Insight talks about developing the ability to fill yourself with energy whenever you want. It explains how to read the hidden messages that come to us throughout our lives and consequently achieve a higher level of awareness.
Love is not an intellectual concept or moral imperative or anything else to do with the mind. To a person, it is an emotion that exists when one is connected to the energy available in the universe which, of course, is the energy of God.
How to gain energy: focus on the environment around you. Remember how everything looks when you're filled with energy. Recall the presence everything displays, the unique beauty and shape of everything, especially plants, the way colours seem to glow and appear brighter. Then try to experience the closeness with everything. Try to breathe it in. Visualise that each breath pulls energy into you. Then check to see if you have the right emotion - Love.
As you fill with energy other kinds of thoughts enter your mind from a higher part of yourself. These are your intuitions. They feel different from the normal thoughts. They just appear in the back of your mind and they can direct, guide you.
When you have enough energy you can consciously engage evolution. First you remember your basic life question, the one you have acquired from your parents, because this question provides the overall context for your evolution. Then centre yourself on your path by considering the smaller questions that currently confront you in your life. These questions always pertain to the larger question, they define where you currently are in your life-long quest.
Once you become conscious of the questions active in the moment you will always get some kind of intuitive direction of what to do, of where to go. You get a hunch about the next step. Always. The only time this does not happen is when you have the wrong question in mind.
The problem in life lies not in receiving the correct answers. It lies in identifying your current questions. If your questions are right the answers will come. After you get an intuition of what might happen next, the next step is to become very alert and watchful. These thoughts come more often than we realise. We must recognise them by taking an observer position. We must ask: Why did this particular thought come now? How does it relate to my life question? Sooner or later coincidences will occur to move you in the direction indicated by the intuition. Negative thoughts, images of fear should be halted as soon as they come. Then a good image should be willed through the mind. Soon, no more negative images will cross the mind anymore. After this stage is reached, when a negative image does come, take it very seriously and do not follow it. E.g. when you have a vision of a plane crash - don't take the plane that you might have been planning to take.
When you stay in a state of Love, nothing nor anyone can pull more energy from you than you can replace. The energy flowing out of you creates a current that pulls energy into you at the same rate. You can never run out. But you must stay conscious of this process in order for it to work. This is especially important when you are interacting with people.
Your body vibrates at a certain level. Let your energy get too low and your body suffers. That is the relationship between stress and disease. Love is the way we keep our vibration up. It keeps us healthy. To grasp the seventh Insight and truly enter the movement of evolution one must pull all the insights into one way of being. Each time the coincidences lead us to something new we grow, we become fuller persons, existing at a higher vibration.
Many answers that mysteriously come to us really come from our encounters with other people. But not all the people you meet will have the energy or the clarity to reveal the message they have for you. You must help them by sending them energy. You can focus on the beauty of a person just like on that of a plant. By thus giving them energy you help them see the truth. Then they can give this truth to you.
Even people who are unaware can stumble into answers and see coincidences in retrospect. The 7th Insight occurs when we can see these answers as they arrive. It heightens everyday experience. We must assume that every event has significance, that it contains a message pertaining to our questions. This especially applies to what we call bad things. The secret is to find the silver lining (the learning element) in every event, no matter how negative.
The Eighth Insight: The Interpersonal Ethic
The eighth Insight talks about how humans will eventually learn to relate to each other. It talks about how to project energy to others and how to avoid addictions to people. It's about how to use energy in a new way when relating to people in general but begins at the beginning - with children.
Children should be viewed as end points in evolution that lead us forward. But in order to learn to evolve they need our energy on a constant basis, unconditionally. The worst thing possible is to drain their energy whilst correcting them.
This will inevitably create control dramas. To avoid this give them all the energy they need no matter what the situation. Therefore include them in conversations whenever possible, especially conversations about them. And never take responsibility for more children than you can give attention to. The number of children is very important.
Having too many children means an adult cannot give enough energy. Then the children will start to compete for time and energy.
Humans will understand that children should be brought into the world only when there is at least one adult available to focus attention all of the time on each child. All the energy does not have to come from the parents alone. Families can be extended beyond blood ties.
When children ask questions treat them seriously. Tell them the truth and not fanciful answers which are simply for the entertainment of adults. Adults often underestimate the capacity of children to understand the truth. It is never too complicated for them. It can always be expressed at a childs level of understanding. It just takes a little thought on the part of the adult.
Addictions: When love first happens between two people both are giving each other energy unconsciously. That is the high called being in love. Once they expect this feeling to come from the other they cut themselves off from the energy in the universe and rely even more on the energy of the other. Only now there does not seem to be enough so they stop giving energy and fall back on their dramas to attract all the energy they can get. The relationship then degenerates to a power struggle between the two.
The eighth Insight continues: whenever others cross our path there is always a message. Chance encounters do not exist. Therefore remain alert to the messages one gets from others. Remain alert also for any messages you might have for the other person. When we finally grasp this reality human interaction will become more purposeful, slower, deliberate. For example, sudden, spontaneous eye contact is a sign that two people should talk. Seeing someone who looks familiar even though you have never met is another sign. They can be members of the same thought group, evolving along the same line of interest. They will often have important messages for us.
To communicate with someone one has to apply the same principle of getting energy. Appreciate both the external and internal beauty of someone. Then, and only then, can you send them energy. It will just flow through you, benefiting you as much as the other person. When you appreciate someone on a deeper level you also begin to see their honest self beyond any facades. This will allow you to read their thoughts through subtle facial expressions. This is perfectly natural.
The eighth Insight is about: relating to others, children, adults, the naming of control dramas and subsequently breaking through them, focusing on other people to give them energy, being observant whom to talk with - then we get the desired messages. It is also about observing the dynamics of group meetings. Being alert to who needs to speak and when. Members in a group must all use their energy consciously for the benefit of everyone, of the group. Then a higher energy level is created within the group.
The Ninth Insight: The Emerging Culture
The ninth Insight explains how human culture will change in the next millennium as a result of conscious evolution.
This chapter describes a significantly different way of life. It predicts that we will voluntarily reduce our population so that we may all live in the most powerful, beautiful places on earth. But remarkably, many more of such areas will exist as we will let forests grow uncut so that they can mature and build up energy. By the middle of the next millennium humans will typically live among 500 year old trees and carefully tended gardens yet within easy reach of urban areas of incredible technological wizardry. By then, the means of survival will all be totally automated and at everyone's disposal, without currency, overindulgence or laziness. Nobody will consume excessively.
Our natural pursuit of the truth will lead us to this higher level of existence. But how will this movement occur?
Consider history again like in the second Insight. The reason we spent five centuries creating material supports was to set the stage for this evolution. Science and its discoveries will indicate this path. Once the insights begin to occur on a global scale the human race will first experience a period of intense introspection. We will finally understand the importance of environmental preservation. There will then be a dramatic movement of individuals from one occupation to the other, repeatedly, until people are in their right jobs. The next cultural shift will be the automation of the production of goods.
According to the manuscript our sense of purpose will be satisfied by the thrill of our own evolution, by the elation of receiving intuitions and then watching our destinies unfold. Everyone will have slowed down and become more alert, vigilant for the next meaningful encounter. E.g. When two people meet for the first time each will observe the others energy field, exposing any manipulations. Once clear, they will share information and life stories until, elatedly, messages are discovered. Afterwards, they will go forward on their individual journeys, significantly altered. They will vibrate at a higher level and touch others in a way not possible before the meeting. The more readily we have energy flowing into us the more mysteriously the universe responds by bringing people into our lives to answer our questions.
The ninth Insight explains that giving is really a universal principle of support for everyone. When we give we receive in return because of the way energy interacts in the universe. It is the same with energy - if we are connected. Giving someone energy creates a void which gets filled up again. Once we begin to give constantly we will always have more coming in than we could possibly give away.
The manuscript will clarify many religions. It will help them fulfil their promises. All religion is about humankind finding relationship to one higher source. And all religions speak of a perception of God within, a perception that fills us, makes us more than we were. Religions become corrupted when leaders are assigned to explain God's will to the people instead of showing them how to find this direction within themselves. It says that at some time in history one individual would grasp the exact way of connecting with God's source of energy and direction and would thus become a lasting example that this connection is possible.
The ninth Insight reveals our ultimate destiny. As humans we are the culmination of the whole of evolution. It talks about matter beginning in a weak form and increasing in complexity element by element, then species by species, always evolving into a higher state of vibration. Our destiny is to continue increasing our energy level. As our energy level increases the level of vibration in the atoms of our bodies increases. This can continue to a point where we vibrate highly enough so that we can walk into heaven in our same form.
Most individuals will reach this level of vibration during the third millennium and in groups consisting of people with whom they are most connected. But some cultures in history have already achieved this level. The Mayans were allegedly an example of this.
The vibration can only be achieved when fear has been permanently abolished. The role of the ninth Insight is to create that confidence needed to abolish the fear. It is the insight of knowing where we are headed. Reaching heaven on earth is why we are here. The manuscript shows how this is ultimately possible. And Christ proved it 2000 years ago.
and they said people didn't read anymore, at least until i got on the case...
