I'm looking into getting a dvd player for my comp, but i wasn't sure if my current hardware would meet the requirements. I tried a few DIVX movies, and they skip a bit. I checked & I have a SiS 530 display adapter, w/ 8 MB memory.

1) Is there any settings i can change to optomize my video settings?

2) Is there any way i can overclock my video card? I know you can w/ a voodo, but... ???

3) I looked thru a few online stores for video cards, i'm looking for something that will work w/ DVD's and is hopefully under $100. Any suggestions? I dont really do much gaming, so this isn't a factor, i just care about compatability w/ DVD. Buying a new video card is a last resort, hopefully there is some sort of tweak

Thanks :)

You can buy a Hollywood Plus DVD decoder card, which can be found for less than $40. Best of luck.
