How do some people get their drivers licenses??

Ehy this is just a poll to see what kind of weird, crazy, stupid, or just plain idiotic stuff you have seen other poeple do on the road, or done yourself.

One of the funniest things i have seen is one day on the count back roads i came upon a car sitting at an itersection this is regulated by a set of flashing lights, red for one direction and yellow for the cross direction. The car in questionwas sitting at the red side. After waiting a few min and seeing the car was not moving with no traffic in site i walke up to his vechiel and asked him if there was a poblem, he just responded nope just waiting for the light, i assured him taht it was a flashing light and he could go now. he told me "but the lights red"
once again i told him it was okay to go and he gave me the same response, i wne t back to my car and drove around him. makes me wonder sometimes how long the guy accually sat there at the "red" light

Well I have a '82 Cadillac Deville which is considered a tank.

What amazes me is when people cut me off in their new/semi-new fiberglass cars. Which will have the most damage my car or theirs, me or them. My car is like stopping a train it cant stop on a dime.

Maybe I need a flashing sign on my car that says MAKE WAY.

I have one of those little new fibergalss things you ere talking bout but i am so obsesive abpout it that i make sure taht there is plenty of room and stuff. Dont want my baby hurting ya know.

the other day I saw a lady going N. about to turn right, and another lady going S. going to turn left at the same street. (this is a 4lane road, no lights or stopsigns at this intersection) The lady going N. made a full stop, 5ft. before her turn, and waved the lady going S. to turn left across both lanes, IN FRONT of her. Meanwhile, I'm waiting (with my jaw on the floor) to turn left out of the same little street they were both pulling in to.

Also, we have a lot of foreign exchange students (mostly asians, - no offence to anyone on this board) that can't take off at a greenlight (in their ricerized cars no less), and can't turn a corner w/o making a complete stop (w/o using a blinker) and then turning. Gawd I hate people that drive like that. Even had one guy that pulled up to a stopsign 5 seconds before I did (he was on my left). I waited a good 20 secs. for him to go (he got there first, his right-of-way). He didn't show any signs of moving, so I went ahead and took off. One I had gone, he went. Sometimes I just don't understand...

(like I said, no offence to any asians here on this board - most of these students are new to the US, and have little expierence driving in the US.)

Oh, and the little old ladies (like 80+) that can't see over the dash, and take forever to get through the intersection on a left turn, and you get caught in the intersection (behind them) when the light turns red.

I can't stand the people who cheat at left turn signals, especially at busy 5-6 lane intersections. Those ones that go after the light has turned red just because they don't have the patience to wait. So then the cross traffic has to wait for them and most of the time they end up right in the middle of the intersection because traffic ahead of them is blocked up. There's never a damn cop around when you need them.
