i don't know what i did, but when i access my hotmail by clicking on the link in my favorites file thing, it never reloads the page.
it says i have new messages, and i've already deleted them!
the page has to be refreshed, or i have to type in hotmail.com in order for it to be updated.
weird, right?

umm...NO! That is the way that hotmail works and is intended to work. It is a whole lot more secure if they need to check your ID every time you open your account, and they don't want to be blamed for poor security. It is perfectly normal how they choose to operate. Otherwise, all someone would need to get to your hotmail account would be the url, and that's the way it used to be, bt they changed that a long time ago.

when i log on, it opens to an old page (the inbox is old info.) and i've had hotmail for about 4 years, so i know how it works.
i have to refresh the page after i've already logged on to get new mail. and i've NEVER had to do that before.
