I have just brought one myself, I hope this will be useful to some of you.
1)call staple 1-800-378-2753
2)price match scanner Umax Astra 2000P ($91.49)

with the same scanner at Office max ($74.99)

3)add paper clip ($.30) to bump total purchase above $75

4)use coupon 90818 (expires 11/4/00) for $25 off $75
5)now, subtotal is about 50 dollars, tax is about 5 dollars and shipping is free (because office has free shipping too)so now the total is ~$55
6)go to the umax web site below for $20 mail in rebate:

purchase has to be made 6/25/00 - 10/31/00 and the request be post marked by 11/15/00
7 total is $35 :)
