Really nice
new laptop from HP that won the PC Magazine Editor`s Choice award. The dv1000 is a laptop that`s just 1.18"
thick and 5.26lbs, yet has a 14" 1280x768 resolution WXGA TFT. With the
basic equipment, it has an Intel Celeron M 350 (1.3 GHz), 256MB
of DDR SDRAM (in 1 SODIMM, so it`s easy and inexpensive to upgrade),
40GB hard drive, DVD-ROM, 10/100 NIC, 56k modem,
IEEE1394 Firewire, USB 3.0 ports, S-video, and a 6-1 Digital media reader. The final cost works like this: $819 - $50 mail in rebate = $769.
